Hi, I’m Corbin.

I’m 24 and the oldest of five boys. I’m originally from North Carolina and moved to Utah last year for school, but I decided to pursue music on my own after taking a few classes at BYU.

I’ve been playing guitar for about five years. I originally picked it up because a friend of mine played and taught me a few things. I liked it enough to save up for a cheap used guitar, and from there, I mostly taught myself. Guitar eventually became a big part of my life. I’m primarily a singer and songwriter, and I use guitar as my main writing instrument.

Right now, I’m recording my own album, which I’m planning to release next year. Outside of music, I love to cook Japanese cuisine, but I’ll try to cook anything if it looks good. I’ve also been trying out creative writing and photography.

I’m pretty easygoing and like to have fun. I don’t take myself too seriously, and I think learning something new should be enjoyable. That’s how I run my lessons too: relaxed, encouraging, and focused on the music you’re excited about.
